About

# Ciúnas means *quiet*

A small, independent studio in Ireland, making calm apps for curious minds.

[See the apps](https://ciunas.app/app?hsLang=en)

Ciúnas is the Irish word for quiet, and it's the one rule every app here follows. Phones are loud. We'd rather make something you open for a few calm minutes, enjoy, and put away.

## What that means in practice

- **No ads, ever.** Not in the free apps, not in the games.
- **No accounts and no tracking.** Your progress and your writing stay on your device or in your own iCloud.
- **Fair pricing.** Everything is free to try. Where there's something to buy, it's a one-off unlock, not a subscription you forget about.
- **Made with care.** Themes that are worth exploring, words worth reading, and designs that don't shout.

## The apps

[Seek](https://ciunas.app/seek?hsLang=en) for themed word searches, [Cipherly](https://ciunas.app/cipherly?hsLang=en) for cryptograms, [Aether](https://ciunas.app/aether?hsLang=en) for private journaling and [Mystic 8 Ball](https://ciunas.app/mystic-8-ball?hsLang=en) for the odd question to the universe. [Sovereign](https://ciunas.app/sovereign?hsLang=en), a sacred space to connect with your goddess, arrives late 2026.
